Help For Hearing With Solar Headphones

Howard Weinstein has one goal in mind – to help create headphones to hear that even the citizens of the poorest nations in the developing countries can afford. Through donations and help from other deaf people, now nearly 20,000 people in 30 countries use the Solar Aid. The hearing solar energy device is similar to a headset to listen, allowing a better hearing in the world that surrounds them.

There are approximately 250 million people with hearing problems, two thirds of them live in developing countries and most of them do not have the money to buy conventional hearing aids due to the high price of its batteries that only last an hour. Having a solar power headset to listen eliminates the problem of the battery and helps many in need.
